Vera McCord “Polly” Burgess, 94, died July 26, 2025. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Moulton, with burial in Rock Springs Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Public viewing will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, directing.
