Nancy Owens Marks of Athens passed away July 23, 2025 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Owens and Ruth Black Owens. Husband, Bobby N. Marks for sixty five years, the love of her life and her high school sweetheart. Brother, Billy Ray Owens. Daughter In law, Christy Craig Marks. Sister, Patsy Owens Sutton. Grandson in law, Michael Shockley. She is survived by her children, Billy Marks, Bracy Marks, Amanda Marks and Heath (Sonya) Marks, Grandchildren, Cason (Elizabeth) Marks, Sydney Shockley, Jayce Marks, Shila Marks, Brdeden Marks. Great Grandchildren, Ava White, Dixie Shockley, Harper Shockley, Warner Marks, Sadie Marks. Brother, Jimmy (Greta) Owens. Sister, Bobby Jane (Don) Breeding. A host of relatives and friends. Services will be 5 pm Sunday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Billy Marks and Cason Marks officiating, burial to follow at Riddle Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 pm until service time. Pallbearers will be Bracy Marks, Heath Marks, Cason Marks, Mike Sutton, Tim Sutton and Greg Sutton. Family request memorial donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
