Martha Inez Taylor, 86, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Itawamba County, MS. She was the last of twenty-one children born to Joseph Edgar and Rosie Etta Ivey Whitehead. She worked over 20 years at Golden Manufacturing. She was a lifelong member of Old Bethel Church and loved her family dearly.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 5 p.m. at Old Bethel Church with Bro. Donnie Riley and Bro. Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Junior Taylor; five children, Danny Taylor (Debby), Donna Prien (Larry), Tim Taylor (Liz), Randy Taylor (Pam) and Debra Nichols (Mike); grandchildren, Dannielle Taylor, Brady Taylor, Kohlton Taylor, Timothy Prien, Patrick Prien (Meghann), Andrew Taylor (Sarah), Chelsea Judd and Bradley Nichols (Lauren) and twenty-one great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Daniel and Dannon Taylor; great-grandchild, Cameron Taylor and a granddaughter-in-law, Brandy Prien.
Pallbearers will be Mike Nichols, Larry Prien, Randy Taylor, Tim Taylor, Danny Taylor and Patrick Prien.
