Lorraine Benedict, 70, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Wednesday, March 9, 1955, in New York, to Arthur Donald Cobb and Dorothy Irene Van Vorst Cobb.
She was a homemaker for her family, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother- William James Cobb, a half-brother- Ransom Varney and wife (Donna), and a half-sister- Marilyn Joyce Alessi and husband (Dino).

Daughter – Heather Marie Benedict Hamilton (Leo Haydon),
Half-Sister – Gertrude Howard (Kenneth),
Grandchildren – Audrey Megaera Hamilton, Nathaniel James Benedict, and Benjamin Eben Benedict.
