Teresa de Jesus Cevallos Ayala, age 77 of Fort Payne, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on April 30, 1948 in El Salvador to the late Mariano Cevallos & Francisca Perez Ayala. She spent most of her career in Food Service.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Sandoval and Mauricio Cevallos; brothers, Alfredo Cevallos, Ernesto Cevallos, and Mario Cevallos Rene Cevallos; sister, Rosa Cevallos; grandchildren, Liliana Sandoval, Bruce Sandoval, Antonio M. Sandoval, Jose Sandoval, Lukas Sandoval, and Cynthia Cevallos; and great-grandchild, Mason Sandoval.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Salvador Cevallos.
