Geary B. Godfrey Sr. age 70 of Guin, AL passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 in the North Mississippi Health Services – South Marion in Winfield, AL.
Born February 3, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA, he is the Son of the late Dorman and Susie Steptoe Godfrey and the Husband of Carla Miller Godfrey. He had lived in Guin since December 2024. He retired as an IT Manager after 45 years and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War having served in the US Navy.
He is survived by his Wife, Carla Miller Godfrey, 3 Daughters, April Godfrey, Rejina Godfrey, and Zakarra Godfrey Williams, 2 Sons, Geary Godfrey Jr., and Marcus Godfrey, 8 Grandchildren, and a Great Grandchild, A Sister, Sharon Jackson and a Brother, Sgt. Calvin Jackson.
The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
