Gary Darrell Castle, 68, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Tupelo, MS. Gary was a professional freight relocator before earning his degree in criminal science, where he gained respect as a parole officer. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard Reserve. When he wasn’t cheering for the Chiefs, he could be found hunting in the woods, fishing on the lake, or enjoying some wind therapy on his Harley.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Trisha Yokoi, his granddaughters, Breauna Tyler and Kayla Tyler, his sisters, Wanda Taylor (Tommy) and Renea Free-Williams (Mitch), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Castle, his mother, Martha Jeanette Alexander, stepdad, Ray Alexander, his grandparents, Durrell Nolan, Mabel Nolan, Johnny Castle, and Pearlie Castle, and his two nieces, Cassie Danelle Fallin and Kacey Janae Free.
A private burial will be held.
