SCOTTSBORO-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of an Attalla man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 10, has claimed the life of an Attalla man.
Tyler B. Sims, 32, was fatally injured when the 2000 International tractor-trailer that he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and then overturned. Sims was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The crash occurred on Alabama 35 near Jackson County 67, approximately one mile south of Scottsboro, in Jackson County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
