Larry Maurice Andrews, Sr. Larry Maurice Andrews Sr., 84, of Ecru, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, in Pontotoc Mississippi, surrounded by the love and care of his devoted family. Larry was born on May 18, 1941, in Leachville Arkansas to the late Lee M. Andrews and Mary Louise Andrews (Mounce). He spent most of his life in Ecru, Mississippi where he built both a home and a legacy. Larry was first married to Bobbie Cooper (Bailey), the mother of his children. They shared 24 years together and raised three children: Laura Cox-Walker, Leann Andrews, and Larry M Andrews Jr (Maury). He was a proud grandfather to Cinda Berryhill (Ben), Dennis Bramlett Jr (Emily), Ashley Culpepper (Ethan), Katie Beth Erby, Bailey Andrews, and Marley Andrews.

His legacy continues with his seven great grandchildren: Peyton, Paisley, Parker, Piper, Presley Bramlett, Brody Berryhill, and Scottie Culpepper.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Cora Sue Andrews, his sister Patsy Andrews Dowdy, and his brother Joey Lee Andrews.

Larry owned and operated Andrews Furniture, a local furniture business, since the 1960’s. For many years, he worked side by side with Dennis Bramlett, someone he truly cared about. Larry was baptized at West Heights Baptist Church in 1961 and held strong to his faith throughout his life. He was known for his love of simple pleasures – especially morning breakfast outings, and in his later years, he enjoyed the quiet companionship of his beloved cat, Pinocchio.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, Mississippi.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” – Psalm 23:6
