Billie Jo Tidwell Cox, age 73, of Jasper, Al, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 03, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Billie Jo was a woman who knew what she liked — and she wasn’t afraid to ask for it. She adored her family, never said no to a good cup of coffee, and proudly declared green her favorite color. Friday nights were reserved for WWE SmackDown, where she rooted for her favorite wrestlers with unwavering enthusiasm.
She also had a soft spot for being pampered — she loved to be waited on, and her family lovingly obliged. Whether it was a fresh cup of coffee, her favorite meal, or just a little extra attention, she embraced life’s comforts with a smile and a wink.
Her warmth, humor, and honest nature made her unforgettable. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strong will. Billie Jo is survived by son; Johnny Knight and daughter Connie Glover, her brother Roger Tidwell, and many others whose lives she touched.
Billie Jo is preceded in death by her parents George and Elaine Tidwell, brother; Roy Tidwell, sister; Wynell Tubbs, brother; Gene Tidwell.
