Mary Ellaree Cooper Mary Ellaree Cooper, 88, of Killen passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, unexpectedly. She was born on October 20, 1936, in Limestone County, Alabama.

The family will receive friends and family from 1-3 PM Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with David Wiseman and Curtis Liverett officiating. A private burial will be held at Cooper Family Cemetery.

Ellaree graduated from West Limestone High School, and Athens State. She taught at Clements High School. She attended church at Westview, West Rogersville, and Brookhill Church of Christ.

Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Hagen Lee Cooper; son, Mitchell Lee Cooper; parents, James and Elsie Adams; brother, Ernest Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina Cooper Camp (Micky); beloved granddaughters, Addison Camp (Noah Turbyfill), Peyton Camp (Gary Feutz); honorary grandson, John Miller Lawson (Jordan); sister, Kay Adams Stinnett; several nieces and nephews.

Ellaree loved working alongside Hagen on their farm. She loved to cook and entertain her friends and family. Her homemade peach ice cream was a favorite of many guests. Daily you would find her doing her Bible devotions.

The pallbearers will be Noah Turbyfill, Gary Feutz, John Miller Lawson, Bracken Camp, Rodney Camp, and David Gray.
