Maria Dawn “Pookie” Adkins, age 32, of Loretto, TN passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. She was a native of Pulaski, TN, and a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marty Adkins; and grandmother; Rebecca Reid.
She is survived by her mother, April Dickey Morgan (Billie) of Leoma, TN; grandmother, Shirley Green (Joe Schlabach) of Loretto, TN; brothers, Matthew Adkins of Lawrenceburg, TN, Nathan Morgan of Leoma, TN, Robby Morgan of Lawrenceburg, TN, Eric Morgan of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Blake Potts of Oahu, HI; sister, Crystal Morgan of Lawrenceburg, TN; several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at Bumpas Cemetery at 1:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2025.
