LEIGHTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Leighton has taken the life of a Colbert County man:
“A two vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. Sunday, June 22, has claimed the life of a Leighton man.
Jaheim Q. Greene, 23, was critically injured when the 2013 Honda CRF450R motorcycle that he was operating struck the 2022 Ford Mustang driven by an 18-year-old, of Muscle
Shoals. After the initial impact, Green was thrown from the Honda and was transported to North Alabama Regional Hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased. Green was not wearing a helmet at the time of crash.
The crash occurred on Jarmon Lane near Jarmon Trail, approximately four miles west of Leighton, in Colbert County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
