Roman Perez Romero, 73, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, June 19th, 2025. Mr. Perez Romero was born on September 1st, 1951, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Marcelino Perez and Macrina Romero.
Mr. Perez Romero is survived by his wife, Eulalia Castaneda; children, Noelia Perez, Catalino Perez Castaneda, Benito Perez, Jesus Perez, Teresa Perez, Rodrigo Perez, Maribel Perez, and Analilia Perez; twenty-four grandchildren; and siblings Gonzalo Perez, Antonio Perez, Catalina Perez, Soledad Perez, and Maria Esteban Perez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Perez and Macrina Romero; and siblings Francisca Perez and Maria Guadalupe Perez.
The funeral service will be Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rodrigo Perez, Catalino Perez, Martin Perez, Maxamino Perez, Benito Perez, Jesus Perez, Camilo Figueroa, and Juan Carlos Moreno. Burial will be at Thatch-Mann Cemetery.
