Loyd Wilson, age 78 of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away on Friday, June 13,2025. Mr. Wilson, son of the late Sam Wilson and Myrtle Wilson, was born on July 22, 1946 in Scottsboro, Alabama.
He was of Baptist faith and worked for Buster Brown until closing in 1998. Mr. Wilson enjoyed picking his guitar and spending time with his family.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wilson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Miller; and grandsons, Allen York and Jesse (Kayle) Wilson; granddaughters, Amanda Proctor, Mukayla (Clayton) Smith and Destiny (Max) Vacchiano; Great-granddaughters, Savannah White, Makenzie York, Aphrodite Vacchiano and Delia Smith; Great-grandsons, Kolten Proctor, Nathaniel Nardella and Patrick Vacchiano.
Family and Friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Sunday, June 22,2025 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, Alabama.
