Samuel BiggerstaffSamuel Biggerstaff, 88, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on June 16 ,2025, at his residence in Elkmont, Alabama.

He was born on Wednesday, May 05, 1937, to Mr. Charlie Biggerstaff and Mrs. Mae Tommie Magnusson Biggerstaff in Elkmont, Alabama.

Sam spent the entirety of his life in Elkmont, Alabama. where he was a member of Hollands Gin Church of Christ.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending his time gardening, fishing as well as hunting.

Samuel was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Martha Biggerstaff, both of his parents, one brother, Mabron Biggerstaff, as well as one sister, Sarah Butler.

Sam is survived by his wife, Ann Biggerstaff, two sons; Steve (Amanda) Biggerstaff of Ardmore, Alabama, Rodney (Darlia) Biggerstaff of Elkmont, Alabama, two daughters; Shari Biggerstaff of Elkmont, Alabama, Cynthia (Mark) Dison of Elkmont, Alabama, nine grandchildren; Luke (Bailee) Ferguson, Sierra (Jonathan) Brown, Katie Biggerstaff, Clint (Crystal) Penn, Haley (Jeffrey) Thorpe, Lacy (Garrett) Laster, Mattie Biggerstaff, Brigett (Wesley) Webster, Braden (Amanda) Dison, nine great grandchildren, as well as a host of several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM (NOON) to 3:00 PM. A chapel service will follow directly afterwards at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hasting Cemetery. Bro. Glen Garner, Bro. Trent Barksdale, as well as Bro. Tim Lewter will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Hospice of Limestone County and Ardmore Veterans Group.

Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
