Mrs. Angulas Marie Rowden Dixon was born on November, 21 1948, in Waynesboro, TN to her parents the late William Darnell Rowden and Nellie Marie Johnson Rowden. Mrs. Rowden spent her childhood in Wayne County, TN enjoying the beautiful scenery of the area. During her childhood, and much of her adult life, she would cherish the moments she and her family would play music together. Mrs. Dixon loved playing her guitar, especially her guitar and singing for her church family during worship services and other events. Mrs. Angulas also possessed a talent for sewing as she would give everyone in her family a pillow case she had sewn and embroidered. Coming from a strong religious ancestry, she was a member of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, TN. However, she cherished no other joys in life closer to her heart than the time she spent with her precious children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Angulas Marie Rowden Dixon passed from this life on June 17, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN making her stay on this earth some 76 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Those left to honor her memory include her children Charles Timothy Rowden a resident of TN, Marilyn Skaggs and April Annette Rumbaugh of Waynesboro, TN ;grandchildren Kayla Adams husband Blake of Waynesboro, TN, Natelle Gladden husband Daniel of Murfreesboro, TN, Berry DeWayne Victory of Collinwood, TN, Lonnie Kain Victory wife Emily of Fayetteville, Heather Daniel of Murfreesboro, TN, Reanda Pigg of Columbia, TN Kimberly Rowden of Waynesboro, TN Blake Barkley of Collinwood, TN Monica Bratcher of Collinwood, TN Timothy Chase Cummings of Waynesboro, TN, Haley Eaker of Savannah, TN, Andrew Blackburn and Dillon Blackburn both of Waynesboro, TN ; great-grandchildren include Carson Skaggs, Gabriel Gladden, Hannah Britton, Elizabeth Gladden, Hedi Victory, Jacob Herod, Emma Herod, Nora Gladden, Melanie Victory and Kenslee Cummings; siblings include Melissa Kimble and Jewel Whitehead husband Larry both of Waynesboro, TN, Judy Raines husband Barry of Murfreesboro Pricilla Rowden and Marcella Gallaher both of Collinwood, TN; son-in-law Roger Eaker as well as many other family, friends and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Melanie Dawn Coosenberry; siblings Carolyn Rowden, William Fred Rowden, Shelia Kimmons and Kedith Rowden.
Funeral Services will be held June 19, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the the Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, TN with Daniel Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation with the Dixon family will begin June 18, 2025 at 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm and again on Thursday June 19 from 10:00 am till service time at 3:00 pm all at Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, TN.
