Obituary of Linda Lou Wilemon Linda Wilemon, 82, passed away on June 07, 2025, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka. Linda was born February 13, 1943, to Virgil and Troyace Smith Nicholson. She was a devoted member of Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church, where she was very involved with the senior saints. She was an educator for many years. Linda loved life and loved teaching others. She retired from the Prentiss County Extension Service with plans to travel the world with her friends, Connie Vaughn and Ann Hinds. Although Linda never had children, she treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Her hobbies involved collecting butterflies, traveling, and bird watching.

A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at McMillan Funeral Home with Brother David Harper and Brother Jamie Nanney officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Linda is survived by her brother, Kenneth Nicholson (Shirley); her sister, Janice Loving; her niece, Lori Scott (Bruce); her nephews, Donald McKinney (Beckie), Andy Loving (Shelley), Brad Nicholson, and Neal Loving (Kelli); her great-nephews, Blake Scott (Alli), Bryson Scott (Cori), John Baxter McKinney (Millie), Bryan Scott, Briley Scott, and Evan Loving; her great-nieces, Olivia Loving and Emma Loving; and her great-great nieces, Josie Scott and Swayze Scott.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harry Mock; her second husband, Clyde Wilemon; and her sister, Betty Sue McKinney (JD).

Pallbearers are her great-nephews.
