Regina Irby, 65, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 in Hamilton, AL. She was born in Red Bay, AL to Cayce Gasaway and Mildred Gattis Gasaway. Regina was cafeteria manager at Fairview Attendance School.
Services will be Tuesday, June 10, 5 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Terry Edwards officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 10, 3-5 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by four children, Rebecca Mayhall, Lisa Childers (Jake), Clint Irby and Wade Irby (Telisa); grandchildren, Abigail Moore (Cameron), Audrey Ford (Tyler), Samuel Mayhall, Jacey Childers, Blake Childers, Jephtha Irby, Christopher Irby, Stephanie Kennedy, Hunter Irby, Stacie Upton and Casey Irby; a host of great-grandchildren; two sisters, Holly McCollum and Eloise Hall and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Gassaway Knight and Cathy Collum (Robert).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Irby; her parents; sister, Nancy Orrick; brother, Jerry Gassaway; mother-in-law, Marie Irby; brothers-in-law, Charles Hall, Richard Orrick and Geary McCollum and sister-in-law, Lucille Orrick.
