A graveside memorial service for Mr. Nathan W. Irvin Sr., age 84, of Camden, TN, will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Rose Hill Cemetery on South Seventeenth in Humboldt, TN.
Nathan, a retired construction supervisor and heavy equipment operator and long-time member of Valley’s Community Church, passed away April 20, 2025, in North Carolina with his family by his side.
Nathan was born in Haywood County, TN to the late Rufus and Lollie Mai Borders Irvin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Jean Irvin; three brothers, Rufus Irvin Jr., Johnnie Irvin, and Walter Irvin; and two sisters, Ida Mai Barnes and Nina Lockard.
He is survived by his children, Nick (Kim) Irvin of Jackson, TN, Carl (Debbie) Irvin of Havelock, NC, Darlene (Gary) Lee of Alliance, NC, and Joy Irvin of Camden, TN.
Nathan was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, Kayla (Dr. Drew) Blackstock, Derek Irvin, Rebecca Irvin, Hannah Irvin, Emma Lee, and Joshua Irvin Lee. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Ola Jean Blackstock, Georgia Rose Blackstock, Sylvia Rene’ Blackstock, Wiley James Lee, and Madison Grace Irvin.
