Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee Kyle, age 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday June 2, 2025, in the Chapel of Shelton Funeral Home with Brother Ronald Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Gibson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday June 1, 2025, in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home.
Mr. Kyle, a retired truck driver with Milan Express, passed away at his home on Tuesday May 27, 2025. Trucking was Mr. Kyle’s passion. He also put in long hours at the Humboldt Gin during cotton season. He loved his jobs.
Mr. Kyle was preceded in death by; his wife Carolyn Kyle, his parents William Ulysses and Letha Pearl Kyle, a daughter Tammy Patterson, a granddaughter Leah Nelson, and two brothers Bill Kyle and Pete Kyle.
Mr. Kyle is survived by; two sons Jerry Kyle Jr. of Parson, TN. and Gary Kyle of Zephyrhills, FL., a daughter Letha Pendergrass and husband Dean of Humboldt, TN., thirteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
