Fredrick Malavolta, Jr., 73 of Joppa passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Marshall Manor Nursing Home. Phil was born July 8, 1951, in Chicago Heights, Indiana, the son of Phillip Fredrick Malavolta and Pearl Delehoy Malavolta. He was a high school graduate and received his associate degree from Arizona State University. He served in the US Coast Guard and was a retired Steel Worker. He attended Union Chapel Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Delores Cox Malavolta; daughters: Renee Beals and Mazinda Baker; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter: Marcella Laney; parents: Phillip and Pearl Malavolta and a brother: Perry Malavolta.
The family has chosen cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Malavolta family with cremation arrangements.
