Bobbie Jean Harpole Woodall, age 89, passed away peacefully at NMMC on Monday, May 26, 2025. Bobbie had resided the last almost six years at Shearer Richardson Nursing Home in Okolona. She was born on April 18, l936, in Vardaman, MS to the late William Geddie Harpole and Beatrice Moore Harpole. She graduated from Vardaman High School and attended Itawamba Junior College. Bobbie lived most of her life in Calhoun County. In 1956 she married her one and only love, Curtis “Sonny” Woodall. They remained married until Sonny’s death in 2001. She worked in various factories in the area most of her life.

 

Though they had no children of their own, they loved all their nieces and nephews.

 

Until her health declined, Bobbie attended church at New Freedom Full Gospel Church. She had a special love for Brother Warren and his family.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings: Doris, Carol, Daniel, and William, and her nephew Eddie Brasfield who cared for her until his death

 

She is survived by her nephew, Robert Wayne Norman and his family, the family of her nephew Eddie, and her niece and caretaker, Teresa Spencer and her family.

 

A service will be held Wednesday, May 28,, 2025, at 11 AM in the Okolona Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Randy Parchman officiating and Sis. Debbie Warren Parchman singing. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Private burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve their friends.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tupelo-Lee Animal Shelter or your local animal rescue group.
