Buren Lee Raines, Sr, of Ohatchee, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of May 22, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born August 2, 1959.
Buren is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Shirley Raines. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Alyssa Griffith (David), Bill Raines, and Buren Raines Jr (Hope); His partner Theresa Hudson, along with her daughter Emma Hudson (Charles); six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Buren was a hard worker, and he played just as hard. After retirement, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on his truck and his tractor, and especially spending time with his family. He loved his children and grandchildren very much, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
