Jean Artherine McMullen Alexander, age 73 passed away May 26, 2025, at Henderson County Community Hospital.
She was born December 31, 1951, in Peoria, IL, the daughter of the late Harry Edward and Netress Viola Palmer McMullen. She grew up in Morton, IL.
She worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL for thirty years before retiring. She moved to Henderson last year to live with her son John.
She loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by two sons, John McMullen of Henderson and Timothy Alexander (Renee) of Champaign, IL, three grandchildren, Alliah Alexander, Jasmine Alexander and Johnathon McMullen, three brothers, John McMullen, David McMullen and Harry James McMullen all of Peoria, IL and three sisters, Nancy Hughbanks, Viann Sthell and Susie Wilson all of Peoria, IL.
There will be no services.
