Nicholas “Nick” Kyle Melton, 35, of Lexington, passed away May 25, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a crane operator for Nucor Steel and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Nick was a 2008 graduate of Rogers High School. Survivors include: Father: Petey Melton Mother: Shelia Diane Jones Daughters: Aria Melton & Kyleigh Melton Grandmother: Marlin “Maw-Maw” Taylor Preceded in death by: Maternal grandfather: Royce Richardson Paternal grandparents: Noah Pee Wee Melton & Coreitha Ann Melton Great grandparents: Buford & Mary Richardson and James & Ruth Dison Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Jacob Murphree officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
