MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Huntsville man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m. Saturday, May 24, has claimed the life of a Huntsville man.
Jeremy S. Lumpkin, 39, was fatally injured when the 2009 Lexus RX SUV that he was driving left the roadway, overturned and then struck a tree. Lumpkin was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 67 near Ryan Loop Road, approximately three miles north of Hulaco, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
