James "Jim" Patrick Limbach  James “Jim” Patrick Limbach, 85, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, May 18th, 2025. Mr. Limbach was born on February 28th, 1940, in New York, to James and Lois (Casey) Limbach.

Mr. Limbach is survived by his close friends, John and Sandra Stockton, Chris and Diane Campbell, Chris and Gail Bergeron, and Bryce Romine.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph Limbach and Lois Annie Limbach; and close friend Oscar “Sam” Campbell.

Mr. Limbach had various interesting occupations. He was a racecar driver, civil war reenactor, policeman, college tech, monk, and worked on oil rigs in Saudi Arabia. Jim was an avid car collector and mechanic, particularly fond of Ford Cobras. He had a vast collection of tools and car accessories which made him the envy of his friends. He was a member of St. Paul’s. Catholic Church in Athens, AL.
