Juanita Hilliard Knox was born April 8, 1930, she passed away on May 19, 2025.
Juanita lived most of her life as a homemaker in the East Limestone and Madison County area. She enjoyed gardening and fishing, as well as spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years James Knox, both of her parents Clifton and Nannie Hilliard, two brothers; Edward Hillard and Robert Hilliard, two sisters; Carolyn Warren and Louise Harper.
She is survived by her two children, Geraldine (Bobby) Mitchell and Ricky (Melinda) Knox, one brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Hilliard, one sister, Barbara Florence, two grandchildren; Jessica (Jonathan) Walker and Ethan (Ali) Knox; five great grandchildren; Charlotte Walker, Carson Walker, Caroline Walker, Graham Knox and Luke Knox, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday, May 23,2025 at 10:00 AM. Reverend Justin Morrow will be officiating.
The pallbearers will be Ethan Knox, Jonathan Walker, Gearry Hilliard, Gaylon Hilliard, Jeff Henry and Curtis Dean.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
