Sandra Kay Proctor It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Proctor. Sandra passed on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 70. Born on March 16, 1955 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Sandra was a source of joy to her parents, John David Hoppock and Suzanne Josephine LaPlante Hoppock. She married Mark David Proctor in December of 1979 and the two made a commitment which lasted over 45 years.
From an early age, Sandra exhibited qualities of resilience and curiosity, which eventually led her to a six-year commitment to the United States Navy. She attended the University of Wisconsin and worked in hospitals as an Operating Room Technician. Sandra was immensely talented with her sewing skills. She had a passion for sailing and loved being on the water. Her professional endeavors at the hospital, her artistic pursuit with her sewing, and her military service to her country were all inspiring attributes but her love, commitment and dedication to her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren, surpassed them all.
Sandra cherished family and those family members left behind as survivors include her husband, Mark Proctor; daughter, Gwenn L. Toler; grandchildren, Jacob Toler and Payton Alexander; great grandchildren, Colter Alexander and Rainleigh Alexander; brothers, Tom Hoppock and Tim Hoppock; sisters, Jennifer Kamin, Larua Hoppock Low, Liz Seis and Deb Pope.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Suzanne Hoppock.
Though Sandra may no longer walk among us, her memory will endure in the lives she touched and the love she shared. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
The family has chosen to honor Sandra’s wishes for cremation with no formal public services.
