James Mitchell Wheeler, age 60, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at NHC Oakwood.
Mitchell was born April 9, 1965, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Billy and Theresa Smith Hardison. He was employed by Nissan as a welder and a member of Westvue Church of Christ. Mitchell enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He was an avid fan of Elvis and his gospel music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Kerry Wheeler.
He is survived by his son, Josh (Maggie) Wheeler of Lewisburg; granddaughter Charleigh Wheeler; brother Michael Wheeler also of Lewisburg.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 6:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
