Shirley Gasaway, 79, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born July 11, 1945 to the late Robert Lee Gasaway and the late Eula Ray Thornton Gasaway. She was a member of Burnt Fields Baptist Church. Shirley was known for her unwavering work ethic, kind spirit, and deep love for her family. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing on quiet mornings, cooking meals from the heart, and spending cherished moments with loved ones. Her warmth and dedication touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 18, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Ray officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday May 17, at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her children, Danny Lynch of Fulton, Donnie (Dana) Lynch of Fulton, and Kenneth (Donna McKinney) Lynch of Fulton and Sherry Jamerson of Fulton; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Gene of Tupelo; brothers, Kenny Wayne of Tupelo, and Tommy Lee of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Connie Lynch; parents, Robert Lee Gasaway, and Eula Ray Gasaway; and 2 brothers, Eddie Gasaway, and R.L. Gasaway.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Wayne, Tommy Lee, Robert Gasaway, Ken Gasaway, Wesley Lynch, and Bentley Lynch.
