Linda Welborn Dodson, 76, Sheffield, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 14, in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Chris Aday officiating. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dodson; parents, James Alvin and Irene Green; brothers, James Green and Travis Green; and sister, Nell Lee.
Linda is survived by her son, Dale Welborn (Nancy); brothers, Harold Green, Kenneth Green (Cynthia), and Jerry Green (Angie); sisters, Charlene Montgomery (Earl Peanutt) and Paulene Thomas; grandchildren, Austin Welborn and Mitch Welborn; aunt, Connie Spencer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Austin Welborn, Mitch Welborn, Derek Thomas, Coby Greer, Jimmy Darling, and Mickey Azbell. Harold Green, Kenneth Green, Jerry Green, and Earl Peanutt Montgomery will serve as honorary pallbearers.
