Kathryn Elizabeth Rozell, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Born on Thursday, May 24, 1934, to the late Matthew Dixon and Callie Parker Dixon, Mrs. Rozell would go on to spend most of her life in the Madison Crossroads community where she was a member of the Baptist faith. Kathryn loved taking care of her family and enjoyed spending her free time cooking and baking.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Leonard Rozell, both of her parents, two sons, Terry Rozell and Malon Rozell, as well as all of her brothers and sisters.
Kathryn is survived by her two daughters, Connie (Howard) Decaussin and Carolyn Nunley, four grandchildren: Sonya (Will) Prince, Deanna (Chad) Warren, Denise (Donnie) Hopkins, and Jennie (Mike) Oliver, four great grandchildren: Billy (Ashley) Prince, Tristan (Mark) Perry, Trenten (Lexie) Warren, and Lexie (Hayden) Warren, five great great grandchildren: Maicey Prince, Cohen Prince, Lakelyn Perry, Rhett Townsend, and Ryman Townsend, her sister-in-law and special friend, Susie Whitt, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held for Mrs. Rozell at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled for the following day, Thursday, May 15, 2025, again at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with service time beginning at 11:00 AM. Bro. Bobby Barnett will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Briar Fork Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
