Funeral services for Terry H. Guynes, 68 of Walnut are set for Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST with interment in Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 10am until 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home- East. Bro. Michael “Doc” Shelton will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Logan Hudson, Tyler Franks, Nick Fiveash, Zack Stephens and Bobby Mitchell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nickey Guynes and Steve Glidewell. Born February 7, 1957 in Corinth, MS., Mr. Guynes passed from this life on May 3, 2025 at his home in Walnut. He was a retired logger and of the Baptist faith. Terry loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed mowing the yard, riding the 4 wheeler, fishing, working in the woods and being outdoors. His passion was driving the skidder. Terry is survived by his daughter, Debra Mitchell (Bobby); grandchildren, Logan Hudson and Bailey Hudson; step grandchildren, Clay Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell and Kristin Bar; 5 step great grandchildren; brother, Nickey Guynes (Oma Jean); sisters, Linda Hodum, Peggy Christian, Sandra Fiveash (Glen) and Tony Guynes; sister-in-law. Debra Guynes; numerous nieces, nephews , other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Frazier; father, Woodrow “Jiggs” Guynes ; mother, Jewel Guynes and his brother, Sammy Guynes.
