Hilma Yvonne Capley Myers, age 89 of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at NHC in Tullahoma. Yvonne was born on October 27, 1935, in Williamson County, the daughter of the late William Vance and Evie Jane (Martin) Capley. She was a devoted homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Joe Daniel Myers; brothers, Elmer Floyd Capley, James Horace Capley, and Johnny Glen Capley; sisters, Mamie Odell Capley Lancaster, Ina Mae Capley Taylor, and Mildred Vance Capley Sullivan; and granddaughter, Rachel Lauren Gamble. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Myers; son, Danny Myers; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved to read her Bible daily. Due to her generous nature and desire to help others, she donated her body to the Medical Education and Research Institute in Memphis for the advancement of science.
