Betty Lou Kilburn Daniel, age 77 of Waynesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at NHC Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard David Daniel; parents, James Frank Kilburn and Ollie Creecy Kilburn; brother, Bufford Kilburn; infant brother, James Loyd Kilburn; sisters, Imogene Luna, Irene Hicks, and Myrtle Ida Dean Brewer.
She is survived by one son, Ricky Daniel and wife Chrystie of Waynesboro, TN; one daughter, Angela “Angie” Daniel Purcell and husband Chuck of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Josh Daniel of Waynesboro, TN and Jacey Purcell of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one great-grandchild, Triton Daniel of Savannah, TN.
She enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, singing, going to yard sales, and loved butterflies. With grateful hearts, the family thanks the nurses, techs, and staff at NHC Lawrenceburg for their special care of their mother over the years.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, May 03, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 03, 2025, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Cemetery in Wayne County, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the The Butterfly Foundation.
