Kenneth Mark Borden, 51, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, May 2, in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Brian Vandiver officiating. Interment will be in Isbell Chapel Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mark was a lifelong resident of Colbert County. He was a Master Craftsman carpenter and a Jack-of-all-trades. There was nothing he couldn’t build or fix. Mark was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Jimmie Susette Borden; children, Marcus Rex Borden (Bethany) and Alexandria Nicole Walker; father, Kenneth Joe Borden; sister, Tammy Berryman (Chris); sister-in-law, Tammie Amburn (Darrin); grandchildren, Brody Cash Borden, Vivian Blake Borden, Sawyer Thomas Borden, Jaxon James Borden, and Cooper Rex Borden, who is due in June; nieces and nephews; and so many cousins and family whom Mark loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Jay Castile, Jeffie Borden, Benjie Newell, Brody Vandiver, Jason Wallace, and Darrin “DJ” Jackson. Brody Cash Borden will serve as honorary pallbearer.
