Graveside services for Mrs. Dianne Marie Nelson, 72, formerly of Clay County were held April 27, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Rick Nelson officiating.
Mrs. Nelson passed away April 21, 2025 in Virginia. She was born and raised in Clay County and spent many years in the area. Dianne was a wonderful baker and candy maker working professionally for many years. She had a great love for horses and the country living. She was loved by her family and often returned that affection with goodies she had made.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Nelson; brother, James R. Harris; several nieces, nephews and special friends that called her Mama D and Aunt Dianne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert John Harris and Betty Parker Harris and a brother, James Leslie Harris.
