Armand Fux, 76, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on April 27, 2025, with his family present. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer. He was born on July 11, 1948, in Switzerland. He was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.

He married Hildegard “Heidi” in 1979 and they had 45 blessed years together.

Armand was an amazing and talented chef. He received the title of Certified Executive Chef for the period ending “Lifetime” by the American Culinary Federation Board of Directors and The National Certification Committee. Armand also received Chef of the Year from The Professional Chefs Association of South Jersey. He volunteered with Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s for over five years prior to getting ill.

Armand had a deep and abiding passion for the Catholic Church and his commitment to their faith was a guiding force in his life.

He was predeceased by his father, Moritz Fux, mother, Jahanna Fux, and his stepson, Randy Bartlett.

Survivors include his loving wife Hildegard “Heidi” Fux; and stepchildren, Richard Bartlett of Huntsville, Darrin Bartlett and wife, Evette, of Florida. He will forever be cherished and remembered by his grandchildren, Stephen Bartlett and Amanda Bartlett, both of Florida; brother, Robert Fux and wife, Evi, niece, Jaequelin, and brother, Aldo Fux, all of Switzerland. His memory will live on with nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with the memorial service immediately following at the church.
