Levi Heath Overton was born on April 5, 1983 in Haleyville, AL and passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 42. He was a 2001 graduate of Winston County High School and a 2007 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in forestry. He was an employee of Danimer Scientific in Winchester, KY. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Lindsey Whitten Overton, their 3 children, Emma Grace Overton, Kale Thomas Overton and Carter James Overton, his parents, Bart and Jennifer Seymour, in-laws George and Virginia Whitten, brother, Matthew Fuller, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was a devoted husband and incredible father to his children. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Overton, grandmother, Alice Overton, sister, Mallory Seymour, aunt, Jayne Overton, and uncle, Jeremy Overton. Visitation services will be Thursday, April 24, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Rock Smith Lake Campus in Double Springs with funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a graveside at Barnett Chapel Church in Houston, concluding with a fellowship held at the home of Bart and Jennifer Seymour to celebrate the life of Levi.
