Patricia Gail Gravitt, age 84, Bear Creek, AL. passed away Wednesday April 16, 2025. She was retired from Winston Furniture and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in the Wiley Branch Community. She loved to read mostly her Bible and loved to write poetry. She sent everyone a Birthday card or get well. She enjoyed Hummingbirds and would watch them for hours. She loved and cherished her husband, Hank. She loved her home and sit and watch Hank with his mules. She loved to pray, she prayed for everybody.
Visitation will be Saturday April 19, 2025 from 11:30AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Levi Raffel officiating. Burial to follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin “Hank” Gravitt; daughters, Patricia Oliver, Kathy Knight and Paula (Mike) Lawrence; step sons, Wendell Gravitt and Dewayne Gravitt; 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elva Knox; step mother, Francis Knox; sister, Gloria Farris; daughter, Jimmie Diane Aderholt; grandson, Matthew Lawrence; granddaughter, Shebra Hosler.
