Johnny Ray Bowden, 59, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 15,2025, in Ardmore, Alabama.
Johnny was born on Tuesday, September 28, 1965, to Mr. John Wayburn Bowden and Mrs. Lerrie Lang Christian Bowden.
Mr. Bowden spent his entire life in Ardmore, Alabama, where he was of the Baptist faith.
In his free time, Johnny enjoyed spending time with his pups: Buck and Bama. He enjoyed going fishing and working in the garden.
Johnny was preceded in death by both of his father, one brother; Jimmy Bowden, one sister: Kathy Kirby.
He is survived by his mother; Lerrie Lang Christian Bowden, four brothers; Jerry Bowden, Jackie Bowden, Jason (Melissa) Christian and Marlo (Shae) Christian, one sister; Delana (Perry) Adams, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. Spencer Hardiman will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
