Charlie Simmons, age 80, of Albertville, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery at Snead. Bro. Brannon Ellison will officiate. The pallbearers will be Kevin Newsome, Jason Dollar, Kris Puckett, Kraig Puckett, Shandon Puckett, and Zack Puckett. The honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Puckett, Brandon Puckett, and Jeremy Puckett. The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2025, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his children; Wanda Simmons (Kevin Newsome), Edward Simmons, Jonathon Puckett (Latisha), and Scott Simmons, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and a brother; Robert Simmons.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Diane Simmons, son; Kenneth Simmons, parents; Will and Mattie Simmons, brother; Floyd Simmons, and sisters; Mary Della Dunn and Dollie Bottomlee.
Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
