Mr. Thomas Wilson, age 79, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at his home in Lexington. He was born December 20, 1945 in Henderson County to the late Willie and Alice Hamilton Wilson. He retired after 39 years as a Tool & Die Engineer at Leroy Somer. He enjoyed working and the yard and was always helping anyone that he could.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Betty Williams Wilson; his son, Chris Wilson (Kim); two brothers, Don Wilson and Bobby Wilson; sister, Rebecca Nichols; two grandchildren, Cody and Patrick Wilson; two great grandchildren; 19 nieces and 11 nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Leon, Joe, Jerry, and Robert and two sisters, Marginell Grove and Louise Smith.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2 – 8 PM and on Wednesday, 8 AM – 2 PM.
