Louise Stanford Knight, age 88, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 in Sulligent. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of the Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. Steven Sanderson to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.

Louise was born on June 13, 1936 in Detroit, AL to the late Lawrence Stanford and the late Madaline Webb Stanford. She attended Detroit and Sulligent Schools. Louise previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing and was Co-Manager along with her husband at IGA Jr. for several years. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very active in her church and enjoyed the fellowship of her Dorcas Sunday School class. She was a member at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and currently attended Sulligent First Baptist Church. Her loving smile and tender heart will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
