Sidney “Sid” Dean Nayman, age 62, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Sid was born on February 24, 1963, the son of James R. Nayman and Mary F. Nayman. Along his life’s journey, Sid worked in various professions most notably being the proud owner of Nayman’s Backhoe Service, where he found immense peace and joy serving those in his community and the surrounding areas.
Sid leaves behind his mother, Fay Nayman, two daughters, Lindsay Strawn (Will) and Kelsey Nayman (Michael), and stepson, Lee Gaither.
Sid was preceded in death by his father, James Nayman and grandparents, Virgil and Louise Nash, Pete and Jennie Naymon.
Visitation for Sid will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Berryhill Funeral Home 9:30-11:00 a.m. in Huntsville. Services will be held in the chapel at Berryhill Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Cameron Cemetery in Gurley, Alabama.
