Mr. Roger Dale “Doc” Morton, age 72, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Cleo Staten & Bro. Glenn Randall, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Morton was born in Alabama on February 25, 1953, to J.E. & Ruby Stephens Morton. He was a brick mason.
Mr. Morton is survived by his Significant Other: Rhonda Barkley of Boaz. Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Corey & Jodie Barkley of Boaz, Luke & Rachel Barkley of Boaz. Special Sons: Cleo Staten of Guntersville, Joe Woods of Snead. Grandchildren: Gavin, Braylon, Tyson, Jordynn and Noah Barkley. Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Sharon & Billy Oliver of Holly Pond, Rhonda Morton of Albertville, Cathy & Gary Williams of Asbury. Brother & Sister-in-Law: Randall & Cathy Morton of Boaz.
Mr. Morton was preceded in death by his Parents: J.E. & Ruby Morton.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Oliver, Justin Oliver, Ryan Morton, Cody Alexander, Kailon Robeson, Jimmy Williams, Joe Woods
