Dr. Benjamine Samuel Cashion, 75, of Fort Payne, Alabama, formerly of Haleyville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Life Center of First Methodist Church of Fort Payne with Rev. Jeff Tate and Rev. Terry Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Head Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the S.O.S. ministry of First Methodist Church, 206 Grand Ave. NW, Fort Payne, AL 35967.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Mary Longshore Cashion; children Sunny Leigh Cashion, Chris Satcher, and Ethan Acres (Sissy); brother Eugene Cashion; and grandchildren Violet Jewell Cashion, Lilianna Satcher, and Canon Satcher, Cyrus Acres, and Delilah Acres.
