Odis Gurney Roberts, 71, of Trinity, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Milwee officiating. Burial will be at Morris Chapel Cemetery.
Born on March 3, 1953 to the late Odis and Geraldine King Roberts, Odis worked as a sandblaster for over 40 years. He enjoyed race cars and visiting with his family and friends, but most of all he just loved to talk.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Juanelle Bartee Roberts; daughters, Angel Roberts, and Amelia Roberts; sisters, Marie Roberts Bates, and Helen Roberts; brother, Edward Roberts; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Odis was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Shultz; brothers, Hoyt Roberts, and Willis “Buddy” Roberts.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.
